Would you be interested in also releasing your tracks on Bandcamp so people like me can buy them and listen offline? I love your work but I don't sit at a computer and listen to music ever, so I'm trying to work out how to get to enjoy your gorgeous songs!
That is very kind, Laura! I'm glad you are enjoying the tunes :)
My big plan is to wait until I've gotten to the end of the series in December, and then have the whole batch mixed and mastered together for a proper release. Maybe there will even be some physical media!
For now, though, you can download each of the songs in their present condition individually (and for free!) by clicking the three dots in the substack media player.
Hey Matthew. Notes algorithm brought me here. First off, I really liked your song and where it came from. I am pretty sure Substack can become a place for a slower music movement. I am really intrigued by your methodology. I’ve been wanting to record songs to tape for a long time now but I have no idea where to begin with. Do you think I can find those tape recorders easily online ? Then I guess it’s all tweaking the buttons !
Wow, love hearing this song again and the concept for the project. Using a 4 track is very fun and I like the medium for your songs. A 'final work' imo.
Matthew, I love the name and lyrics of your song, “More”. Beautiful! I hope you keep creating like this!
You may be interested to know that “Nadamore” is the name we’ve given to our place up here in northern Michigan. As described on our website www.nadamore.life, “nadamore” is a Word, a Place and a Journey, with every day being a new opportunity to practice “getting to nada” only to discover more of the more:)
So beautiful Matthew! Keep it up brother. Love the cover, super powerful. Words are amazing as well!!
Cheers, Isaac! Just gotta go get some more blank tapes!

Thanks you for this! The "Slower Music Movement" is a great way to put it! Perhaps that can be a banner many will gather under.
I do believe things are changing for the best thanks to artists like yourself and others on here !
Loving these tunes!
Thanks Laura! So great to have you here. It’s been ages!

Love it! More, please ;)

What a lovely synchronicity! I think that captures what the song is getting at very well. Thanks for sharing that.
👍👍 two thumbs up, one for the song and the other for the artwork. Really like this style of recording for you. It captures the special Matthew sauce.
Thanks for listening, Eric!
